As an M&E installation, service and maintenance provider, we understand the important role our industry plays in supporting a lower-carbon economy, both in how we run our own business, and in how we support our customers, including councils, healthcare and other critical infrastructure operators, in meeting their own environmental goals.
Our Net Zero Target
We are committing to achieving Net Zero across our own operations by 2050. Our plan is focused on the areas where we have direct control and can make a genuine, measurable difference: our vehicle fleet, how our engineers work day to day, and how we support the environmental goals of the sites we work on.
Investing in Electric Vehicles
Transport is one of the most significant parts of our operational footprint, given the number of sites our engineers travel between each day. We have already begun this transition where 39% of our fleet is electric and PHEV with a clear aim to reach 80% of our fleet as low-carbon by 2030. This builds on a model we already operate, basing engineers permanently at key client sites to minimise unnecessary daily travel, and we will continue to grow our electric and hybrid fleet year on year as we work toward Net Zero by 2050.
Responsible Engineering Practice
In our day-to-day work, we prioritise repair over replacement wherever it is safe and compliant to do so, extending the working life of equipment and reducing waste sent to landfill. We manage refrigerant gases responsibly and in line with F-Gas regulations, to minimise fugitive emissions from the systems we maintain, and we support our customers’ own environmental reporting by providing accurate, timely data on the equipment we service.
Governance and Progress
Our environmental approach is reviewed annually alongside our wider Quality Management System, which is being developed in line with the principles of ISO 9001, with formal accreditation targeted over the next 12–18 months. We will publish updates on this page as our fleet transition and reduction plan progress.
