How long is it since your boiler was serviced?

Both like and unlike a modern car, your gas and oil central heating systems need an annual service.

It’s like a car in that there is a fixed service interval of usually a year and it is dissimilar in that every time you walk past your boiler, it doesn’t flash a reminder. Cars do that – which is convenient and which can also be annoying if you’ve already booked a service for three weeks’ time.

A boiler needs an annual service for four primary reasons:

4. It doesn’t void your warranty
